There are many ways to approach the concept of love, owing to the fact that love is volatile. That means that love can take on various forms depending on circumstance. It can be idyllic, confrontational, or compassionate. It can be cruel, shy or easy-going. It can be tender and sad.

Love's volatility comes from the fact that it springs from the union of beings who are subjective and imperfect. Different combinations from distinct people bring new dimensions to a relationship, which oftentimes cause unforseeable alterations in the overall dynamic. Ian Malcolm would say it's chaos theory.

With these two notions in mind, trashgh0st and I present you "A Swiftly Tilting Heart:" two distinctive sides with different moods and textures, joined together by a common direction and timely circumstance. The album, like love in some of its more intoxicating forms, has a disorienting feeling, especially when one crosses over from one side to another. It should sound like the spirals of love, always contrasting, ever growing ― a heart swiftly tilting.
